The English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Language, Arts, and Culture, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, held a Program Study Meeting (Rapat Program Studi) on 13 August 2026 as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year.

The meeting focused on key preparations for the 2026/2027 odd semester (semester gasal), including academic affairs, teaching and learning preparations, and other matters related to the implementation of the upcoming semester. The meeting provided an opportunity for lecturers and the study program team to coordinate responsibilities, review academic arrangements, and ensure that the semester could begin smoothly.

Another important topic was the preparation for welcoming the 2026 cohort of new students. This year, the English Literature Study Program will welcome 194 new students, marking the beginning of their academic journey at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The study program discussed the necessary preparations to ensure that the new students receive a warm and well-organized introduction to academic life in English Literature.

Through the meeting, the English Literature Study Program reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening academic coordination and providing a supportive learning environment for both new and continuing students. With preparations underway, the program looks forward to welcoming the new cohort and beginning the 2026/2027 academic year with renewed enthusiasm and readiness.
