FBSB - Karangmalang The English Literature Department of FBSB UNY held a series of practitioner lectures on content and copywriting with Imam Syafi’i, the CEO of Satoeasa untuk Indonesia, in March 2023. The lectures were delivered to the students of batch 2021 and students of MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, or Freedom of Learning Independent Campus) from other departments. Taking place in the Cine Club Auditorium, the lectures were divided into four sessions. The first session was on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, with the topic “Working with image, motion, and sound in creating great content.” The second session was on Thursday, March 9, 2023, with the topic “Writing blogs.” The third session was on Monday, March 20, 2023, with the topic “Strategies in copywriting for digital marketing.” The last session was on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, with the topic “Digital marketing on various social media platforms.” 

The team of content and copywriting course lecturers consisting of Prof. Erna Andriyanti, Ph.D., Susana Widyastuti, Ph.D., and Ikha Adhi Wijaya, M.Hum., reported that the students were enthusiastic about joining the lecture. The class activities, which included lectures, discussions, group work, and group presentations, were well-conducted according to the lesson plan and schedule. The students practiced producing not only informational but also engaging and selling content. The knowledge and skills gained from the practitioner lectures were strengthened in each class with the lecturer. Lastly, these practitioner lectures also resulted in an Implementation Arrangement (IA) between the English Literature study program and Satoeasa untuk Indonesia.
