Translation has been applied for various purposes. It also gives advantages to teaching and learning foreign language. To explore this field, English Language Education Department of Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) invited Andy Bayu Nugroho, M.Hum. from English Literature Study Program of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta to give a general lecture on “Improving English Pedagogy through Translation Activity”.

This program was held on December 3, 2019 at Gedung Perpustakaan Pusat UII and was attended by the students of the English Education Department of UII. This 90-minute lecture was part of UII elective course on Translation major taken by students.
