The students of the Discourse Analysis class participated in Linguistic Seminar Series #1 held by the English Studies Association in Indonesia (ESAI) with the theme “Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis (MCDA) as an Approach to Understanding Social Issues.” The seminar was conducted on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1 to 3 PM through Zoom Meetings. Dr. Ang Pei Soo from the University Malaya became the main speaker, and Susana Widyastuti, Ph.D., a lecturer from the English Literature Study Program as well as the lecturer for the Discourse Analysis class, became the moderator for this seminar.
