FBSB — Karangmalang To enhance students' comprehension and learning, Yogyakarta State University's English Literature Study Program carried out several visiting professor programs. One of the visiting professor programs took place on April 10–30, 2023, with professors from Suleyman Demirel University (SDU), Kazakhstan. This program was conducted in a hybrid manner, through several online meetings via Zoom and several offline meetings in class.

There were three visiting professors: Prof. Adilzhan Anay, Prof. Totgyn Ayazbay, and Prof. Madina Ashirimbetov. The first topic, The Introduction to Western Civilization: Culture and Literature, was delivered by Prof. Adhilzan Anay. The online session of this first topic was held from April 10 to 12, 2023, with 100 students joining the class. Following that, Prof. Torgyn Ayazbay delivered the online session of The Introduction to Advanced Technology-Reinforced TEYL Course from April 10 to 14, 2023, with 60 students attending the lecture. The last, Prof. Madina Ashirimbetov, delivered the online lecture on the Basic Academic Writing Course from April 10 to 14, 2023, with 50 students joining the lecture. All three classes were continued on-site from April 26 to 28, 2023, in the W.S. Rendra Building, UNY.

This program was greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the students and also by the group from Suleyman Demirel University. This program benefited the students during the lectures and also provided intercultural understanding between Indonesia and Kazakhstan.
