Translation practice becomes important for students who are learning foreign languages. Some students learn translation because they want to be professional translators. To meet the students’ prospect, the English Diploma of Study Program of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto invited Andy Bayu Nugroho, M.Hum. from English Literature Study Program of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta to give a one-day workshop on Translation Practice for English Diploma Students.

This program was held on April 4, 2019 at Aula Gedung D Faculty of Humanities Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The guest lecture consisted of lecturing and mostly translation activities and practice to give the students more experience in solving some problematic sentence construction taken from various types of texts.
