Coronavirus pandemic which has spread throughout the world, especially Indonesia, has caused many losses. Therefore, Bantul Bergerak Community consisting of various college students and other students domiciled in Bantul held the 1000 Hand sanitizer Movement and Srawung Tonggo Movement to work together to help the people in need. One of the students from the English Literature Study Program, Riznadia Fitria Mellani, participated in this movement. She joined Bantul Bergerak _ Community since the community was first established, namely in 2019. And this year is her second period. It can be seen that with that fact, English Literature students also show their concern to become a good future generation by joining and participating in activities that are benefical to society. In providing this movement, _Bantul Bergerak Community invites all of us, Bantul citizens in particular, to raise funds as a form of concern in facing the COVID-19 attacks. Donations collected are distributed directly in the form of hand sanitizers, masks, and infographic papers on education about COVID-19 such as how to wash hands properly, how to use a hand sanitizer, and so on.

The first movement carried out was the 1000 Handsanitizer Movement which was focused on distribution in the Bantul Market. Then the Srawung Tonggo Movement was the second movement focused on distribution to neighboring community members who are in need.

When the distribution was carried out in Bantul Market, there were still many people who did not wear masks and did not have a handsanitizer, many of them were very grateful for the free distribution of masks and handsanitizers. Similarly, when distributing to neighbors, there were among Riznadia’s neighbors who have to work every day but only have one mask. So, with the two movements of the Bantul Bergerak Community, it can help the community to overcome the current coronavirus pandemic. Hopefully, these kinds of movement can educate people who still do not understand the importance of breaking the chain of COVID-19 outbreak that starts from self-awareness to wear masks and bring a handsanitizer when we have to get out of the house.
